The terms governing your use of dochost

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dochost ("dochost", "we", "us", or "our"), available at dochost.io. By accessing or using dochost, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Service

dochost lets you publish HTML and Markdown as public pages served at a clean link. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that dochost will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You may sign in using email or a supported social provider such as Google or GitHub.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you publish through dochost. By publishing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and serve your content for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring you have the right to publish it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use dochost to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful
  • Host malware, phishing pages, or other deceptive or fraudulent content

We may remove content or suspend pages that violate these Terms.

Plans and Payments

dochost offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the plan you select. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to dochost, and remove published pages, at any time if you violate these Terms or for other lawful reasons.

Intellectual Property

The dochost name, website, and original features are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, dochost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new date. Continued use of dochost means you accept the updated Terms.
