Is the extension free?

Yes. Installing the extension and publishing pages is free, and no account is needed. Free pages stay live for 7 days; if you want a page to stick around longer, you can extend it or move to a paid dochost plan for permanent links.

Which AI chats does it work with?

ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) and Claude (claude.ai). The extension detects HTML and Markdown in the conversation and adds a small Publish button next to it — it stays out of the way everywhere else.

What formats can I publish?

Full HTML pages (with their inline styling intact) and Markdown documents. HTML renders exactly as the AI wrote it; Markdown is rendered to a clean, readable page with headings, tables, and code blocks.

What data does the extension collect?

The extension only acts when you click Publish: it sends the specific HTML or Markdown you chose to dochost and returns your link. It does not read your other conversations, track your browsing, or run in the background.

Where do published pages live?

On dochost.co, a dedicated content domain, at an unguessable /d/… URL. Pages are unlisted — only people you give the link to can find them — and free pages expire automatically after 7 days, so nothing you publish in passing stays online forever.
